Iao Valley State Park
This historic and sacred state park is located in central Maui, just a few miles from the Maui Seaside Hotel. It is an easy and fun hike through the scenic rainforest and streams with great photo opportunities of Iao Needle--the sacred burial ground for Hawaiian Chiefs and home to the Hawaiian Nature Center.

Hookipa Beach Park
Considered one of the world’s best windsurfing areas.
Maui’s tallest peak that stretches from one side of the island to the other, and rises 10,000 feet above sea level. Haleakala means ”house of the sun” and a visit to Maui is not complete without waking up to the planet’s most beautiful sunrise at Haleakala. As you drive up to Mount Haleakala, you will find the farms and gardens of Upcountry Maui, where farm-to-table dining is defining fresh flavors of Hawaii.
The town of Hana is also known as Heavenly Hana—for once you drive the rugged coastal road to Hana, you’ll feel that you have visited a slice of Heaven. Hike through bamboo forest, bathe in the secluded mountain waterfalls, or swim in the black, white, or red sandy beaches.
Once a plantation town, the revitalized village of Paia is filled with art galleries, unique shops, homestyle bakeries, and casual restaurants. Mama’s Fish House is the perfect place to have a lazy afternoon lunch.
Once a whaling outpost known for its taverns and rambunctious sailors, this town is now known for its abundance of great restaurants, shops and art galleries. Lahaina is also the gateway to Kaanapali.

Located on the south shore of Maui, this town has an abundance of mid-range hotels, and condos.The beach is better known for windsurfing than for swimming.
Maui Lani Golf Course
This 18- hole golf course, located near Maui Seaside Hotel, is easier to play in the early morning. By noon, the winds kick in, and this golf course becomes quite challenging and fun!
Maui Arts and Cultural Center (MACC)
A world-class performing and visual arts center that selects an artist each week from Hawaii and abroad to bring music, exhibits, and culture to the people and visitors of Maui.
Maui’s county seat of government and home of historical buildings that date back to the early 1900s and can be toured in weekly public excursions. Wailuku First Friday (the first Friday of every month) brings Market Street alive with magicians, food vendors, jazz entertainers, and headliners from Oahu to entertain the crowds of local people. Shops and galleries extend their hours, and people mingle and dance in the street until closing.
Maui Community College
A four-year community college through the University of Hawaii is located near the Maui Seaside Hotel.
